A 40-year veteran of sports media, Kosner began his career as an intern at NBC Sports during college (1978-1982), followed by positions at CBS Sports (Manager of Programming, 1982-1987), the National Basketball Association (Director, then Vice President, Broadcasting; 1987-1994), Sports Illustrated (Vice President, TV Program Planning & Development, 1994-1996) and ESPN (Vice President, Program Development and ultimately Executive Vice President, Digital and Print Media, 1997-2018).  


Kosner has done work with every major professional and collegiate league and association, both in an editorial and business capacity.
